Substance Abuse - Hot IssuesWhile issues and problems related to substance abuse are often intertwined, it can be useful to examine some of them individually. We'll update this list from time to time, to bring the latest "hot issues" to your attention.
Drug and alcohol rehab centers should offer a variety of treatment programs that can meet individual needs and offer sustained help. Programs may include inpatient, residential, outpatient, and/or short-stay options. While alcohol and drug addiction progress through predictable stages, each individual’s experience has quite personal and unique characteristics. It takes a trained professional, either a physician or therapist specializing in addictions, to make an accurate diagnosis and prescribe the most appropriate treatment program.
Not all alcohol and drug rehabilitation centers are the same—they can differ significantly in philosophies, program options, credentials, staff skills and qualifications, and cost. The process of selecting the right drug rehab center can be confusing. Most of us don’t know exactly what to look for or the questions to ask that will help determine the drug rehab center that’s best designed to meet our needs.

Twelve Oaks Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center
Twelve Oaks is a free-standing alcohol and drug treatment center located in the Florida panhandle. The five-acre campus borders a sandy beach and provides a serene setting. We incorporate a multi-disciplinry approach, and individual treatment plans are designed based on the specific needs of each patient.
Wilmington Treatment Center offers excellent treatment to those abusing or addicted to alcohol and other drugs. We begin our program (if needed) with a medically supervised (24 hours a day) detoxification. Our programming includes, inpatient (rehab), partial (day treatment) and intensive outpatient programming. Our clinical program is comprised of 8 certified counselors, many Masters Level. We provide up to 28 days of treatment but can customize a program for you.
Bowling Green Brandywine is an 89-bed inpatient treatment facility located in historic Chester County in southeastern part of the state at Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. The location provides easy access and borders Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland. We are located 90 minutes from Washington DC and two hours from New York City.
