NADCP to Train Drug Courts About MethadoneKaren Freeman-Wilson, chief executive of the National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP), said one of her primary goals is to push for the use of methadone treatment in drug courts, Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Weekly reported.
Drug and alcohol rehab centers should offer a variety of treatment programs that can meet individual needs and offer sustained help. Programs may include inpatient, residential, outpatient, and/or short-stay options. While alcohol and drug addiction progress through predictable stages, each individual’s experience has quite personal and unique characteristics. It takes a trained professional, either a physician or therapist specializing in addictions, to make an accurate diagnosis and prescribe the most appropriate treatment program.

Twelve Oaks Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center
Twelve Oaks is a free-standing alcohol and drug treatment center located in the Florida panhandle. The five-acre campus borders a sandy beach and provides a serene setting.
