Art Therapy

Drug Rehabilitation Art TherapiesAs the name implies, art therapy incorporates therapeutic principles with artistic endeavors (for example, sculpting, drawing and painting). Art therapy participants are encouraged to complete creative activities as a means of identifying and addressing issues related to their personal challenges.

Art therapy has been successfully integrated into treatment plans for individuals who are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, substance abuse, addiction and a host of related conditions. In addition to providing both participants and therapists with a unique means of approaching potentially difficult topics, art therapy also provides clients with the opportunity to benefit from the innate healing power of the artistic process.
